My wife, Erica, and I founded this organization in 2022. HOAB is dedicated to encouraging, engaging, and empowering underserved communities. Our mission is to harness the transformative power of sports, education, and business opportunities to uplift and inspire.
Inspiring Through Personal Journeys
My journey from a young boy in Ghana to an Olympian is a testament to resilience and determination. Overcoming numerous challenges, I became the first African to win an elite skeleton race sanctioned by the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation in 2020. My story serves as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that with perseverance, any dream is attainable.

Our commitment goes beyond inspiration; we actively engage with communities to foster real change. Through our initiatives:
- Educational Outreach:We’ve shared the “Black Ice” film and graphic novel with over 600 children in South Africa and Ghana. These sessions ignite belief in self-worth and the pursuit of dreams.
- Community Engagement:By organizing workshops and interactive sessions, we provide platforms for children to explore their potential, ask questions, and set actionable goals.
Consider the story of Ama, a young girl from Accra. After attending one of our sessions, she was inspired to pursue athletics. With mentorship and support from HOAB, Ama is now training to represent Ghana in international competitions. Her journey exemplifies the ripple effect of hope and empowerment.
